TRANSFER DUTY CALCULATOR

When you purchase a property in New South Wales you will need to pay Transfer Duty (previously called Stamp Duty) to the NSW Government, unless you are eligible for an exemption.

Conveyancing Services will assist you by discussing with you your Duty liabilities, informing you of the amount payable, and assisting you with applying for any exemption or concessions you may be eligible for.

Revenue NSW collect the duty on behalf of the NSW Government.

The Purchaser is responsible for the payment of any duty and within certain time limits.
In broad terms, duty is assessed on the price of value of the property transferred (whichever is the higher).

Provided below are links to a transfer of land and first home buyers calculators and a business calculator. These calculators will estimate the amount of duty you need to pay. Calculate stamp duty now.
