Conveyancing Services

The History of our Real Estate Conveyancing NSW Firm

Assisting satisfied clients with selling and buying property since 1986.

Conveyancing Services was established in Newcastle during July 1986 in order to challenge the solicitors domination in Conveyancing. At this time, Conveyancing was primarily only available through solicitors firms.

Conveyancing Services was at the forefront of the battle in NSW Parliament to have Conveyancers licensed in NSW to provide a viable alternative to the previously solicitor dominated monopoly.  A lengthy battle finally resulted in the passing of the Conveyancers Licensing Act 1992. As a result of the passing of this Act, Conveyancing Services became a leader in NSW with four members obtaining licenses when they were first issued in 1993.

Since opening our conveyancing firm in Newcastle in 1986, we have opened branch offices in Maitland in 1988- current, and Gosford in 1987-1995.  This has allowed the firm to service a large proportion of the Newcastle, Central Coast and Hunter Valley areas.  Our Newcastle branch moved to new premises in Adamstown in 1996, where it remains to this day.
